About James

Growing up playing rugby, cricket, doing muay thai and playing guitar set the foundations of James' curiosity, creativity and work ethic.

Obsessed with expanding his knowledge, James obtained a masters in theoretical physics from the University of Manchester. It was here that he met his first Movement teacher, as well as his first meditation teacher.

He quickly realised that his passion lay not in any particular subect, but in unpacking the internal journey to optimal performance through learning and skill acquisition, and his immersion into practice progressed to new depths.

Through continuous research and study into the workings of the body and mind, James explores and teaches movement not only as a way of being healthier, but as a means to greater confidence, self understanding and freedom of expression.  He continues to seek out and expand his network of mentors, to ensure that his learning is rich and ongoing.
